Downtown Annapolis is a beautiful historic, quaint town founded in 1649. It provides many different settings for photography, including streets with portions of original roads, colorful row houses, the Maryland State House where George Washington resigned his commission in 1783, and beautiful water views along city dock.
Quiet Waters Park is an Anne Arundel County park in Annapolis that lies right along the South River. There are many beautiful fields, blooming trees, a gazebo and bridge, and flower gardens in the park.
The Naval Academy provides many beautiful landscapes and stunning architecture right there on the Severn River in Annapolis. Please note: you need to be approved by the Naval Academy Business Services Division in order to do any photography on the Yard for profit.
Spring and Fall are by far the busiest times of year here!
In order to shoot on the Naval Academy, you have to be vetted and accepted by the Naval Academy Business Services Division. This process usually takes at least a year, sometimes more. Be prepared to wait!

I HAVE A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR YOU!
I've been navigating military life with my family since 2008. In that time, I went from a full-time classroom teacher to an online course designer to a photographer. Actually, I still teach a little math on the side because I just love it too much!
Through it all, I've discovered how passionate I am about connecting with military families. Whether it's taking photos at a retirement ceremony, coaching a fellow milspouse photographer, or just grabbing coffee with a new squadron friend, I love this community. And as a teacher at heart, I'm excited to use this space to share what I've learned about business and life with you.
I'M ERIN.
