This session was such a treat! It was primarily a senior session for Katalina and Andreas, but we also snuck in a few family shots and a birthday photo for Jayla too. We met at Wegerzyn Gardens – my absolute favorite spot to photograph in Dayton – and it did not disappoint. I wouldn’t usually call myself a Dayton senior photographer, but I think I will after this!
After nearly five years in business, I can honestly say I captured one of my favorite photos EVER during this session. I mean, 🤩🤩🤩.

The way the flowers layered in the foreground, the genuine smile on Katalina’s face, and the golden light streaming through the trees in the background… AH! It’s everything I love about photography in one frame.
Even though I primarily photograph families and military events, every time I get the chance to photograph seniors, I’m reminded how much I enjoy it. Maybe it’s because I adored my high school years. Maybe it’s because teaching this age group has always been my jam. Or maybe it’s because seniors are a little easier to direct than toddlers (no bribery required 😉). Whatever the reason, I loved hanging with this family and documenting this season for them.
If you’re looking for a Dayton senior photographer who will capture genuine, timeless images of your senior year, I’d love to create something beautiful for you. Sessions at Wegerzyn Gardens are always a favorite of mine and this morning was the perfect reminder of why. Please reach out to me if you’re interested and we’ll get a date on the calendar!

I HAVE A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR YOU!
I've been navigating military life with my family since 2008. In that time, I went from a full-time classroom teacher to an online course designer to a photographer. Actually, I still teach a little math on the side because I just love it too much!
Through it all, I've discovered how passionate I am about connecting with military families. Whether it's taking photos at a retirement ceremony, coaching a fellow milspouse photographer, or just grabbing coffee with a new squadron friend, I love this community. And as a teacher at heart, I'm excited to use this space to share what I've learned about business and life with you.
I'M ERIN.
