Albuquerque Senior Photos | Old Town | Brooklyn Hettinger

Senior Session

May 17, 2022

I have such fond memories of my own senior photos, so I was thrilled when Brooklyn’s mom reached out to me about taking senior portraits for her. She was in the final week of her senior year and made the last minute decision to have her photos taken. I’m so glad she did, as it was a perfect way to capture this special season. We decided to meet in Old Town, which was a beautiful location for Albuquerque senior photos.

Brooklyn’s Albuquerque Senior Photo Session

After having driven through Old Town on a Saturday afternoon, I was thrilled when we arrived at 8:00 AM on a Wednesday morning. Not only was there parking on the square, but there were hardly any people around. I was prepared to be very strategic to not get other people in the background of Brooklyn’s photos, but that turned out to be a non-issue. We started at the gazebo and made our way around the square. Brooklyn wore a flowy floral red dress which photographed beautifully. She was a natural in front of the camera and truly made my job easy!

After taking some photos around the square, Brooklyn changed into her second outfit. We captured some photos in front of San Felipe de Neri Church, which made for a beautiful backdrop. She put on her choir robe, as well as her cap and gown, for a few final shots at the end of our time together. It was fun to capture her in a way that highlighted one of her favorite parts of high school. After all, the personalization involved in senior photos is my favorite part!

Brooklyn, thank you so much for letting me capture this special time for you. Congratulations on your graduation and best wishes for your future!

If you are interested in having me capture senior photos for you, please reach out! It’s not too soon for the Class of 2023!
